The Office of the Patriarch is pleased to announce the following episcopal appointments within the Worldwide Anglican Church, reflecting continued growth, unity, and apostolic leadership across the global provinces:
- His Grace, Senior Primate ++Dr. Jan Beaderstsdt is hereby appointed Primate of the WAC Province of Kenya, succeeding ++Dr. Amwayi, with gratitude for his faithful service.
- The Most Reverend Dr. Felix Nzeyimana, formerly serving as Apostolic Nuncio to French-speaking nations, is appointed Primate of Canada, bringing his distinguished diplomatic and pastoral experience to this important role.
- The Right Reverend +George Mentz, serving as WAC International Chancellor, is elevated to the rank of Archbishop and appointed Primate of the WAC Province of North America, in recognition of his leadership, service, and commitment to the Church’s global mission.
These appointments are made in accordance with the sacred traditions and governance of the Church, and with prayerful consideration for the advancement of the Gospel and the strengthening of the faithful worldwide.
The Church calls upon all clergy and laity to offer their prayers and support for these leaders as they undertake their new responsibilities in service to Christ and His Church.
