The Worldwide Anglican Church Consultative Council is one of three of the WAC’s instruments of Communion the others being the House of Bishops and the College of Bishops. The Presiding Archbishop is seen as the “Hearts for Unity” for the three instruments.
The WACCC’s purpose, is to “advance and develop the Christian walk and in particular to promote the unity and purposes of the Churches of the Worldwide Anglican Church, in mission, evangelism, ecumenical relations, communication, administration and finance.”
The WACCC’s powers is its ability to “amplify WAC’s programs in the world mission of the church” and encourage the Church’s and provinces, to share their resources to accomplish those plans.
The WACCC is responsible for recording the work of the Church’s committees and networks, as well as that of the Worldwide Anglican Church staff.
There are currently 12 committees, councils and commissions that address and outline various issues and areas of interest in the Worldwide Anglican Church.
Formed in 2019, the WACCC is a place for the Presiding Archbishop to meet and discuss issues of concern, evaluate the other committees, pray, and seek God’s guidance and wisdom.

The SJRCD is a deliberative, policy-development and leadership body, bringing the vision of Reform to issues of social justice; it is involved with education, programming, advocacy, leadership development and engagement on behalf of the positions which the Worldwide Anglican Church have adopted.
It supports the peaceful social action and social justice work of WAC senior clergies who may be asked to testify on humanitarian issues to legislative bodies.
Church Finance Committee monitors revenue projections, taking a realistic approach to project revenues by analyzing historical giving, attendance patterns, and average member donations.
The finance committee assists in establishing the global budget based on revenue projections and allocates funds to individual committees and congregations.
The finance committee monitors the budget every month by reviewing the actual money that came in and went out and analyzes any variances. When an unexpected major expense arises, the committee allocates a percentage of budget to emergency funding and sets aside a percentage of revenue to an emergency fund reserve.
The committee has Systematic financial reporting, which helps the church see how it is performing and adhering to the budget. It Creates quarterly reports and keeps church leadership apprised of spending and budget variances.
The committee encourages church stewardship by relying on the generous donations of its members, as well as ongoing grant writing.
The committee Safeguards Church Assets and are responsible for ensuring that there are proper financial controls of church assets. It audits the process of anyone who handles church money and ensures there are safe storage places, that no one is ever alone with money and that there is constant supervision of members, volunteers or employees who come in contact with cash.
As a nonprofit organization it is prohibited from taking profits out of the organization. Thus, the committee invests any funding that are above expenses back into the organization.
The committee develops budget training and creates a simple process to help church managers become financially literate.
The committee guides the membership of the church in estate planning, in estate stewardship, and in methods of making deferred gifts, informing them through various means of communication and through observance of special emphases
It Establishes guidelines and procedures for receiving deferred and testamentary gifts and gifts in trust. It makes recommendations concerning trust funds and memorial gifts.

The Worldwide Anglican Church’s selection of clergies and churches wishing to enter is accomplished very prayerfully. As the Lord is the Head of the Church, it is unthinkable to select a priest, bishop, or church without spending considerable time consulting with Him and seeking His will. This committee consists of mature Christians, sound in the faith, grounded in doctrine, active in witnessing, prayerful and Biblically knowledgeable. Maturity demonstrates itself through forthright speech when necessary, through silence when reservation is wisdom, through the exhibition of sensitivity to attitudes, and through skill in rightly reading between the lines.
This Committee is charged with the lead role in selection of clergies and churches wishing to join the Worldwide Anglican Church. Upon receipt of an application, a thorough review is made of applicants answers to 62 well designed questions that examine the heart of the individual(s) with an in-depth review of his/her/their leadership and ministry style. This committee also reviews sermon videos and social media postings. This committee seeks and examines references and conducts a thorough background check including credit checks and sexual conduct using intelligence agencies. Candidates meet with the Provincial Archbishop and Bishop for a formal interview. Upon a satisfactory interview, the spouse and family will also be interviewed at an informal gathering. If the candidate or church is to be accepted a vote is cast with an acceptance or refusal letter sent to the applicant or church. This process takes between two and six months to complete.

The perfect works of God among the people of the Old Testament were an overture to the work of Jesus Christ. He achieved his work of redeeming humanity and giving perfect glory to God, principally by the paschal mystery of his blessed passion, resurrection from the dead and glorious ascension, whereby dying he destroyed our death and rising he restored our life. Christ continues to redeem God’s people and remains present in his Church, especially in its liturgical celebrations. With Christ as our high priest, we celebrate this same paschal mystery and offer thanks to God for the great gift of our salvation. All liturgy, then, is an application of the priestly office of Jesus Christ and we believe that is is a sacred action surpassing all others.
The word “liturgy” is derived from the Greek word, litourgia – “the work of the people.” Our Christian liturgy, however, is really God’s work. We cooperate in God’s work and at his invitation, we gather together to worship him in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). We express and nurture faith, which grows when it is authentically expressed in celebration. Therefore, it is with the utmost pastoral concern that we prepare liturgies that are in accord with the liturgical books and documents, to faithfully uphold the rich heritage of the Anglican Church, and enable the full, active and cognizant participation of the church congregation.
The Commission assesses the needs of the global worshiping assembly and regularly evaluates practices to see that those needs are being met. It advises the priests and deacons on liturgical practices and provides direction for those who prepare liturgies. It provides ongoing training, and right practices for prayer, church appearance, and vestments. It provides for the liturgical education of all parishioners, using various methods when appropriate. It promotes the development of competent liturgical ministers with regular communication and annual training. It implements liturgical laws, universal Anglican practices and diocesan policies and directives. It sets goals for the progress of the liturgical life of the parish, and helps the parish see the connection between worship and Christian living.

The International Special Events Committee provides a means of offering to the Worldwide Anglican Church parishes social events for the purpose of fundraising.
The Committee is in charge of brainstorming, organizing, planning, and executing social events that appeal to all audiences.
This ministry team provides fellowship and connections.
It also provides an opportunity for the congregation, friends, family, etc. to socialize, have fun, and become connected with each other on a different level than what they experience on Sundays in church.
This committee also collaborates with all the Worldwide Anglican Church committees, councils and commissions to brainstorm opportunities and fundraising initiatives.
It collaborates with speakers of interest, musicians, Government officials, hotels and agencies to ensure a broad spectrum of exciting events around the world including concerts, safaris, workshops and training seminars.

The Project Development Committee (PDC) is responsible for identifying viable projects for partnerships and grant writing opportunities. Currently the PDC is collaborating with a US organization on a project in Uganda to build housing and schools for orphans and children with special needs. This committee identifies diocesan needs and meets to assemble a plan of action including marketing, financial and business plans to present to partners and banking institutions.
The PDC ensures that strategies to address potential threats to the project’s success have been identified, costed and approved, and that the threats are regularly re-assessed. It addresses any issue which have major implications for the project and keeps the project scope under control as emergent issues force changes to be considered. It reconciles differences in opinion and approach and resolves disputes arising from them. It reports on project progress to the Consultative Council and takes on responsibility for progressing any government issues associated with the project. PDC members understand the strategic implications and outcomes of initiatives being pursued through project outputs, appreciate the significance of the project for some or all major stakeholders, and represent their interest.

The Bereavement and Chaplaincy Committee (BCC) is a training arm of the Worldwide Anglican Church with several members who have graduated from the International Federation of Christian Chaplaincy with diplomas and badge carrying credentials. The BCC offers ongoing training to its churches around the world in pre-bereavement and sensitive subjects including the dying process and coping with grief and support groups for adults and children. The BCC covers all areas of chaplaincy and steers programs for prison, hospital, nursing home and orphanage ministry.

This advisory council assists the Ministers of Children to plan, carry out, and evaluate the children’s programs of the global churches and studies carefully the work of this ministry around the world.

The Public Relations and Communication Committee (PRCC) provides understanding through promoting who we are, what we believe, when we gather, where we assemble, and how we minister, worship, and study. The committee seeks to provide this function by knowing and evaluating our environment and using media and techniques to communicate the message of The Worldwide Anglican Church. This committee is aware of church events that need to be communicated to the public. It discovers ways of publicizing ministry opportunities to the church and the general public. It publicizes, through as many different resources as possible including our social media platforms and our quarterly magazine ‘The Great Commission,’ and comprises of specialists with technical and artistic skills.
The committee posts announcements and photos about current events on social media on a weekly basis and reports to the churches any significant feedback from visitors to the media. It designs and produces slides for the website, posters, flyers, and other printed materials used for publicity within and outside the church and allows for photo-sharing including collecting photos after church events, posting them on an online storage area so they can be shared with the congregations.

The Historical Research Council (HRC) creates and maintains a current and comprehensive history of The Worldwide Anglican Church by collecting records, including, but not limited to, letters, pictures, and/or news items relating to church pastors, ministries, programs, and special emphases. The collection shall include minutes of regular and special church conferences, membership, financial, and stewardship programs, and any records involving other church-wide activities or events which have significant historical and or useful value. The committee devises procedures and a system of promoting, collecting, cataloging, maintaining, and securely storing all such records. The committee makes the records readily available for research by committees and individual church members (or others), requiring and maintaining a check-out system for any records removed from storage.

Across the world, tourism has emerged as one of the fastest growing markets. From developed to developing nations, tourism offers opportunities for entrepreneurship and lifting people from poverty. It allows for a positive interaction of cultures as travelers and local residents learn about one another. The Tourism Committee assists the churches of the Worldwide Anglican Church with programs that help individual Anglican members, parishes, dioceses and our Headquarters and cooperates with Trekking Mart USA. With global churches, we have members in many interesting and fascinating places. These places range from seashore to mountains; jungles to islands.
Some of our opportunities include:
Volunteer/Medical Tourism where people can work in our schools as well as children’s homes, giving them a vacation with a purpose.
Adventure Tourism, which offer incredible scenery and culture. Travelers can stay in homes, hire local guides and experience these places like a local.
Safari Tours in places like Africa and Asia which offer opportunities to do gorilla tracking in Uganda and Rwanda, tiger safaris in Nepal as well as looking for a wide variety of rare and exciting animals.
Mission Trips where projects are selected and offered as opportunities to do ministry in various locations.
Senior Citizen Tours and Budget Tourism – Promotion of ways people can travel on a limited budget. Africa is often portrayed as an expensive place to travel to, yet there are good quality guest houses where people can stay at a fraction of the cost of what is often advertised on the internet. This committee is dedicated to developing opportunities and tours to our churches around the world and it works closely with all our committees, councils and commissions to ensure seamless communication.
