We are a genuine branch of the Anglican Church date back since 1921 and the congregation of faithful people in which the true word of God is preached, and the sacraments duly administered according to his Holy Word. As a partner in the universal Church, we proclaim and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ in worship and charging ourselves to seek and to give aid to the conditions of people, wherever our duty lends and beyond.
We value our heritage of biblical faith, reason, liturgy, tradition, bishops and synods, and the rich variety of our life in the community.
We acknowledge that God is calling us to a greater diversity of membership, wider participation in ministry and leadership, better stewardship in God’s creation and a stronger resolve in challenging attitudes and structures that cause injustice.
Guided by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to respond to this call in love and service and so more fully live the life of Christ.
Worldwide Anglican Church does not define its doctrine in a single confession.
The Lambeth Quadrilateral (1888) defined the commonalities of churches in the Worldwide Anglican Communion and has also served as a basis for ecumenical discussion.
The 39 Articles of Religion were a foundational document for the Church of England during the Reformation.
Renewal & Reform
Renewal & Reform is an ambitious work, which seeks to provide a narrative of hope to the Worldwide Anglican Church in the 21st century. It is rooted in a sense of Biblical hope and an understanding of Christ’s call to us to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send out workers into the harvest field.
The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out his workers into his harvest field (Luke 10:2)
Work with other faiths
Presence and Engagement are about equipping Christians for today’s multi-faith world. We believe the Church must remain present in diverse areas, and engage positively with other faiths. We respond confidently and joyfully to all sorts of challenges and opportunities which come up in areas where people of different faiths live side by side.
The Worldwide Anglican Church has long been committed to addressing the evolving nature of social policy, caused by the changing political, social and economic climate of our times. It is our Christian mandate to shine the light of God’s love in every area of life, and the mission of our Church is to voice the concerns of the church as the body of Christ, as well as striving to create a just and caring world, where all peoples can participate and flourish.
