Read: Mark 16
JEHOVAH WILL TRUST YOU AGAIN
“Go tell His disciples — AND PETER.” (Mark 16:7)
The special message carried by the angel was for Peter — the disciple who had failed miserably in denying his Lord and Master. But instead of a stern word of rebuke, there came this encouraging message, “Go tell His disciples . . . AND PETER . . .” The Lord Jesus had mentioned Peter by name, revealing that He still loved him.
Oh, what loving kindness and tender mercy Jesus shows to those who fail Him! Where there is a genuine repentance and willingness to have done with all known sin, He will always come with a word of encouragement.
Do you feel that you have failed Him, and that it is not worthwhile going? Faint not, dear soul. The Lord loves you still. He hasn’t changed. As He comforted Peter long ago, do He can forgive you and cleanse you afresh.
Come then, prepare yourself and seek the Lord again, He will be found when you seek Him with all your heart.
God will trust you again, dear heart,
God will trust you again,
Just in the place where you failed Him,
God will trust you again.
Yours in the Lord’s Vineyard (Dojeh James Edijalive)
