CHOOSING THE RIGHT WAY – Psalm 37: 1-5

CHOOSING THE RIGHT WAY

“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37 : 5)

There are times when even the Spirit-filled believer can be in difficulty as to which way to go. How necessary it is as such a time to wait upon the Lord, and seek His face in prayer for definite guidance. The easiest way out is to choose our own way, and then ask God’s blessing upon it! Are you in doubt? God won’t have you in the dark as to what you should do.

An old Scottish woman travelled around the country selling housewares. Wherever she to a fork in the road, she would throw stick into the air. When it dropped to the ground for will proceed in the direction it indicated. One day a friend saw her tossing the stick several times in the air before choosing the way she would take. “Why did you do that more than ounce?” he asked. “Oh, the stick kept pointing to the road on the left,” she replied, “but I want to go the other way because it looks so much smoother.”

Make sure you take God’s way, although it may may not be smooth at the moment, but it will be the right way for you.

HYMN

God’s way is the best way,
God’s way is the right way,
I’ll trust in Him always,
He knoweth the best.
